A Rum from our Premium Collection. It is double-aged in American oak barrels that previously contained Suau Brandy makes this product very special and unique, combining the flavours of a Caribbean rum with our solera brandy.
Two seas, two island, two barrels
The Caribbean and the Mediterranean, Cuba and Mallorca. Oak barrels with a Caribbean flavour and oak barrels with the flavour of aged Brandy Suau. This exquisite “Jungla” Rum was born as a personal project to achieve an exclusive product with a very special bouquet. We have selected a high quality rum aged in the Caribbean to provide a second ageing in our Mallorca Cellar, in barrels where previously we aged our famous Brandy Suau.
PurchaseRon Jungla represents the first stage of Bodegas Suau in the Caribbean, founded by Don Juan Suau in 1843. At that time our founder started distilling and exporting rum, taking advantage of the local sugar cane cultivation.
Ron Jungla has been an iconic distillate of Bodegas Suau for more than a century and a half. Today we wanted to reconnect the Caribbean Sea and the Mediterranean, creating a classic premium rum with low sugar content.
It is made in the Dominican Republic and has a second ageing in our cellar in Mallorca, using casks that previously contained Suau Brandy. Ron Jungla is aged for 11 years on two islands, two seas and two casks.
